Cape School is always looking for great instructors. See if you qualify below. If you meet one or more of the following Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) requirements, please fill out the following form and you will be contacted soon.

NMLS Minimum Requirements (check one):

Industry Professional: It is expected that instructors will have at least five (5) years of professional experience in the industry in a position (or positions) that bears directly on mortgage loan origination practices including but not limited to origination, underwriting, secondary marketing, operations compliance, quality control, and/or other comparable positions.

Federal/State Regulator: It is expected that regulatory instructors (state or federal) must have at least three (3) years of responsible experience in a regulatory position (or positions) including the conduct or supervision of mortgage company examinations (brokers and/or lenders), consumer complaint investigation and resolution, or mortgage legal affairs.

Associated Mortgage GSE Professional: It is expected that instructors formerly or currently associated with Mortgage GSE's must have a minimum of three (3) years of responsible experience in a positioin that is comparable to either the industry professional or regulator position described above.

Qualified instructors must also meet the minimum requirements for a criminal background check included in the Secure And Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (SAFE Act). Read more about the SAFE Act here
