- Eligibility period from pre-licensing course completion to successfully passing both portions of the Maryland licensing examination.
- Effective October 1, 2018, a candidate’s eligibility period will be six (6) months. Candidates who complete the pre-licensing course and become eligible to take the exam will have 6 months to successfully take and pass both portions of the appropriate Maryland licensing examination.
- Candidates who do not pass the examinations within the six (6) month period will have to retake the pre-licensing course and apply to retake both portions of the examination.
- Validity of examination results.
- Effective October 1, 2018, the examination results will be valid for six (6) months. Candidates who have successfully taken and passed both portions of the Maryland licensing examination will have 6 months to apply for the appropriate Maryland license.
- Candidates who do not apply for the appropriate license within the six (6) month period will have to retake the pre-licensing course and apply to retake both portions of the examination.
- Eligibility period of the pre-licensing education waiver to successfully passing both portions of the Maryland licensing examination.
- Effective October 1, 2018, the pre-licensing education waiver will be valid for six (6) months. Candidates who are granted a pre-licensing education waiver will have 6 months to successfully take and pass both portions of the appropriate Maryland licensing examination.
- Candidates who do not take nor successfully pass both portions of the examinations within the six (6) month period will have to take a pre-licensing course and apply to retake both portions of the examination.
