  1. Eligibility period from pre-licensing course completion to successfully passing both portions of the Maryland licensing examination.
    1. Effective October 1, 2018, a candidate’s eligibility period will be six (6) months. Candidates who complete the pre-licensing course and become eligible to take the exam will have 6 months to successfully take and pass both portions of the appropriate Maryland licensing examination.
    2. Candidates who do not pass the examinations within the six (6) month period will have to retake the pre-licensing course and apply to retake both portions of the examination.
  2. Validity of examination results.
    1. Effective October 1, 2018, the examination results will be valid for six (6) months. Candidates who have successfully taken and passed both portions of the Maryland licensing examination will have 6 months to apply for the appropriate Maryland license.
    2. Candidates who do not apply for the appropriate license within the six (6) month period will have to retake the pre-licensing course and apply to retake both portions of the examination.
  3. Eligibility period of the pre-licensing education waiver to successfully passing both portions of the Maryland licensing examination.
    1. Effective October 1, 2018, the pre-licensing education waiver will be valid for six (6) months. Candidates who are granted a pre-licensing education waiver will have 6 months to successfully take and pass both portions of the appropriate Maryland licensing examination.
    2. Candidates who do not take nor successfully pass both portions of the examinations within the six (6) month period will have to take a pre-licensing course and apply to retake both portions of the examination.
