HOW DOES A TELECONFERENCE WORK?


This is a LIVE continuing education program presented via telephone.
There is NO TESTING required for you to receive your CE credit.
You can use any land or cell line telephone.
The live presentation is at a specific scheduled time. You can call in while sitting at your kitchen table, driving in your car (safety and compliance with laws is a must – don’t break any laws!) and/or at your office. You can start the teleconference on a cell line, and then switch phones to a land line. If you get disconnected, immediately call back. We are able to link together your multiple phone numbers and times connected.
At time of registration, you will receive an email that will contain dial-in instructions, a list of localized phone numbers to be used to call in to, course materials and a “Teleconference Attendance Verification” form.
Please return the “Teleconference Attendance Verification” form via mail or fax, OR it can be scanned and emailed. You can even shoot a picture with their smart phone. On the form you will need to provide the telephone number(s) that you used (YOUR telephone number) to call in, and 4 key words, numbers or letters that the course presenter will have announced during the presentation. CAPE will very promptly issue a course completion certificate and file your credits upon receipt of your “Teleconference Attendance Verification” form. Because of time reporting requirements that course providers must adhere to, CAPE requires that we receive your completed “Teleconference Attendance Verification” form within 3 business days. If we don’t receive your form, we cannot report your credits.
Very simply – The SOONER we receive your completed form – the SOONER we can report your credits.
